CRAVING FOR JAPANESE CUISINE

It has been two Sundays in a row that my appetite for foreign cuisine was granted and I must say that it was only a testing episode. In the afternoon we went to an open Japanese restaurant around the city of Kota Kinabalu.

As usual recommendation from the restaurant workers were sought about the good food of Japanese cuisine. There were much lunch set available apart from the many appetizing side dish. We ordered the Shake Shioyaki set as was recommended by the restaurant and a very nice Japanese rolls (with fish roe).

The marketing strategy of foreign restaurant in Kota Kinabalu was to take pictures of the many food available and let their blur customer pick their choices.

I really like the Sushi rolls, if not mistaken the orange colour tasted like fish roe.

The Shake Shioyaki set consists of small pieces pickle vegetables, a soup, rice, Vegetables salad and Salmon fish. Noticed the Coca-cola cup in the picture. Actually we didn't know that we were served with Japanese tea, so we ordered some drinks from the stall nearby.

Japanese food as compared to Korean food for this first round were much better. The result is 1 for Japanese food and 0 for Korean food. Looking for another round of foreign cuisines.
